CNBM to contribute RMB199M to four cement projects

China National Building Material (CNBM) has signed a joint investment agreement with Gansu Qilianshan Cement Group Company Limited to invest jointly in four new cement projects. The total amount of capital to be contributed by CNBM to the four above-mentioned projects is RMB198.94m. FLSmidth has signed a contract worth over EUR95m with ASEC Algeria Cement Company (AACC) to supply two new production lines each with a capacity of 4500tpd. Wärtsilä Corporation has signed an agreement with Riyadh Cement Company (RCC) to deliver a second power plant for their new cement plant expansion in Saudi Arabia. FLSmidth has signed a contract worth EUR79.3m for a complete cement production line to be built on an existing cement plant in Verhnebakanskiy near the port city of Novorossiysk east of the Crimean peninsular. Devnya Cement AD, the Bulgarian subsidiary of Italcementi and the largest producer in the country, has contracted Polysius to supply a kiln line for 7000tpd of clinker.
