Fives has installed the first FCB B cement grinding mill in April 2017 at Entreprise des Ciments et Dérivés d’El Chellif’s (ECDE) 6000tpd clinker line at Chlef, Algeria. ECDE is a member of the industrial group Ciments d’Algérie (GICA). Installation of the mill followed the erection of the Ø5.1m x L 82m kiln in February 2017. FLSmidth signs cement grinding plant contract in Rwanda

FLSmidth confirmed it has signed a contract with Prime Cement Ltd for engineering, procurement and supply of equipment for a full-scope cement grinding plant with a capacity of 700,000tpa. The plant will be located in Musanze, Rwanda. India-based Sagar Cement Ltd has contracted Gebr Pfeiffer SE with another order for a mill to grind granulated blast furnace slag and granulated blast furnace slag cement. Loesche has provided an update on its order to supply Pakistan producer DG Khan Cement Company with three grinding mills for its new 9000tpd clinker line in Hub in Balochistan province. Cemex Holdings Philippines Inc subsidiary APO Cement Corp has signed an agreement with Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. of China to build and operate a 4.5MW waste-heat-to-energy (WHTE) facility in Naga, Cebu.
