Lafarge sells Chile cement and downstream assets?29 July 2009, Published under Cement NewsLafarge has agreed the sale of its cement and downstream operations in Chile to the Peruvian conglomerate Brescia Group for some US$466m. This is Brescia’s first investment in the cement sector. This would be the largest investment underway in Paraguay this year and account for 25 per cent of Brazilian investments so far in 2009.
