Indonesia’s cement consumption fell 20 per cent to 2.50Mt in October from a month earlier due to the Eid-al Fitri holidays, said Urip Timuryono, chairman of the country’s cement producers association (ASI), Monday. China’s Anhui Conch Group to invest CNY3bn to expand in Guangdong

Anhui Conch Cement Group plans to invest CNY3bn in Foshan city in southern China’s Guangdong province to build six cement production facilities with daily capacity of 5000t each, the official Shanghai Securities News reported.   Citing unidentified local government officials, the newspaper said the Foshan city government is in the process of phasing out small cement producers.  

Lafarge turnover rises 4.5 per cent

Colombia’s Argos transfers $43.5m to US unit to boost revenue
