The Department of Commerce originally issued the antidumping duty order on imports from Japan on May 10, 1991 and continued the order following subsequent reviews. This development follows a change in the structure of the local administration and the transfer of regulatory issues overseen by the state Department of Environmental Conservation to the Governor’s Office and the Budget Division.
