Senegalese cement output up 10%

Cement production in Senegal jumped 10.3 per cent in March when compared with March 2016, according to the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Planning. Total output reached 609,800t in March, up from 552,700t in the equivalent period of the previous year. MoM the increase was 6.9 per cent from 570,300t in February 2017.

Peru’s cement dispatches fell 10 per cent to 0.73Mt in April when compared with April 2016, when 0.811Mt were delivered, according to the country's cement producers' association, Asocem. Algeria expects a surplus of cement output in 2017, according to Abdeslem Bouchouareb, the country’s minister of Industry and Mines.
