Siemens to equip new substation for Austrian cement plant

Lafarge Zementwerke GmbH has awarded Siemens an order to supply state-of-the-art electrical equipment for the new substation of its cement plant in Mannersdorf, Austria. Sinoma International Engineering and its Malaysian subsidiary signed engineering contracts with NSCI, a Malaysian customer, totaling US$207m and €27m respectively.

 Sinoma and its subsidiary will build a clinker line with daily capacity of 5000t for NSCI. They will also upgrade NSCI’s two existing cement mills, supply equipment, provide engineering, installation, and technical services until these works are accepted as qualified.
