Small construction company EkoEksEnrgoStroy has signed an agreement with the government of the Rostov Region to build a RUB10bn cement plant in the region, according to information from the signing ceremony. Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Group said it plans to set up up a INR1900crore (US$3.91m) cement plant with a production capacity of 5Ma by the end of next financial year. Rungta Mines Limited (RML) (Singhbhum, Jharkhand) has announced plans to develop a cement manufacturing plant in Orissa. RML, the flagship company of SR Rungta Group, has been primarily involved in iron ore mining and steel production ventures.
