Grupo Caribe to spend US$17m on upgrades

Cement plant for Rafsanjan

Combined net profit of the eight cement companies operating in Saudi Arabia stood at 2.5bn Saudi riyals (US$667m) for 2003, up from 2.2bn riyals in 2002. Commerce Minister, Humayun Akhtar Khan said that Pakistan will extend technical support to Yemen for establishing cement industries in Yemen.
