The firm added that when energy supply was halted, it had storage and a stock of clinker which prevented the company from being impacted during the period. Of the total, domestic supplies amounted to 44.672Mt while imports were 3.865Mt. Pakistan’s August cement dispatches higher08 September 2014, Published under Cement NewsTotal Pakistan dispatches during August increased by 23.2 per cent compared to the same month of last year with strong increases seen on both the domestic and export front. Latest data from the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association shows that total dispatches reached 2.7788Mt last month compared to 2.254Mt in August 2013. Cimentos Tupi to build new plant in Paraná state05 September 2014, Published under Cement NewsBrazilian producer Cimentos Tupi is to invest BRL915m (US$408m) in a new factory in Adrianópolis, Paraná state.
