The German cement sector expects to register in increase in domestic consumption this year boosted by improvement in the economy and demand for construction services. BBMG China to acquire new plant

BBMG Corp, a leading cement producer and property developer headquartered in Beijing, announced recently that it plans to buy a cement production line from a Henan Province-base cement producer for RMB350m, China Industry Daily reported. The production line is located in Shanxi Province and has a clinker capacity of 3000tpd. Following the deal, BBMG expects its annual cement production capacity to expand by 1.5Mta.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Finance (MOF) will levy provisional anti-dumping taxes on cement from China with the single tax anticipated to rise by 50%.
