Indocement H1 net profit up 40%30 July 2010, Published under Cement NewsPT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Friday reported a 40% increase in its net profit for the first half of the year to IDR1.64trn (US$182m) from IDR1.17trn a year earlier. The cement company said its net revenue rose to IDR5.36trn from IDR4.80trn a year earlier, yielding a 24% increase in gross profit to IDR2.77trn from a year earlier. Cementos Portland profit totals EUR 2.4m in 1H1030 July 2010, Published under Cement NewsThe profit of Spanish cement producer Cementos Portland Valderrivas dropped by 88.3% YoY to EUR2.4m in the first half of 2010. The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) came in at EUR109.6m, down 27.1%. The turnover also fell by 19% to EUR435m. The company saw a recovery in the cement consumption in the second three months of 2010. |
