Holcim Espana boosts sales

Holcim Espana, the Spanish arm of Swiss cement group Holcim, registered a 10.5 per cent rise in sales last year, to EUR 650m. The company generates 62.5 per cent of revenue in the southern region of Andalucia, where sales reached EUR 400m last year, a rise of 17.6 per cent.  Four of Holcim Espana’s six production facilities are located in Andalucia. The Holcim group has invested EUR 170m in the region in the past five years, managing director Saverio Banchini said yesterday.
