WorkSafe prosecutor Nicole Fauvrelle told Geelong Magistrates’ Court the employees suffered injuries when they were trying to determine the cause of a blockage to a pre-heater at the plant. Holcim Hungaria sold 1.3Mt of cement and 676 cu m of concrete in 2004. The cement manufacturer recorded earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of over HUF 7.3bn (US$38m) last year.
