The Rajasthan High Court has granted a partial relief to Birla Corporation Ltd to remove 70,000t of excavated limestone from the mining area at its Chanderia unit in Rajasthan, according to a report in The Hindu. The revival of Morocco’s social housing programme has given a significant boost to the country’s cement consumption. In November, demand for the building material was up 9.25% YoY.
