The Ministry of Construction has predicted that domestic cement supply will surpass demand by 2009. Enexco Teknologies said three members of its senior level management were killed in a road accident in Indonesia. ViCAT in discussions to acquire stakes in CIMA subsidiaries

Cement Industries of Malaysia BHD (CIMA) announced that it is still in discussions with French cement company VICAT regarding the latter’s offer to acquire stakes in CIMA’s subsidiaries. In a statement to Bursa Malaysia, the company said no agreement has been concluded so far and both parties have agreed that VICAT’s offer will remain valid until December 15.
