Gujarat Ambuja Sept cement sales up 22% YoY03 October 2006, Published under Cement NewsGujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd. said on Tuesday that last month its cement shipment jumped by 22% to 1.18Mt from 970,000t in the same month last year. Cement production in September was also up 22% at 1.16Mt. The company said that cement dispatches of Ambuja Cement Eastern Ltd. were up 45% at 161,000t compared to 111,000t in the corresponding month last year.
