Vinacomin to raise coal prices from April 1, Vietnam06 April 2011, Published under Cement NewsThe Vietnamese Ministry of Finance has approved a proposal from state-run Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) to hike coal prices for local cement, paper and fertiliser production by between 20% and 40% from April 1. German construction expands at record pace06 April 2011, Published under Cement NewsGerman construction sector expanded at a record pace in March, led by a strong rise in commercial activity. The purchasing managers’ index (PMI) for the sector climbed to 61.8 from 60.7 in February, Markit Economics said Wednesday.
